長期育成指針（LTD）とは What are the LTD Guidelines?
長期育成指針（LTD: Long-Term Development）は、全日本柔道連盟が策定した、柔道に関わるすべての人の生涯にわたる成長と発展を支えるためのグランドデザインです。 The Long-Term Development (LTD) Guidelines are a grand design established by the All Japan Judo Federation to support the lifelong growth and development of everyone involved in judo.
勝利至上主義にとらわれず、幼少期からシニアまで、それぞれのステージに合った指導と環境を整備し、柔道を通じた人格形成、健康増進、社会貢献を目指します。柔道の「教育的価値」「社会的価値」「文化的価値」を最大限に発揮するための長期的な視点に立った指針です。 Moving beyond a win-at-all-costs mentality, these guidelines aim to establish coaching and environments suited to each developmental stage — from early childhood to seniors — fostering character development, health promotion, and social contribution through judo. They provide a long-term perspective for maximizing judo’s educational, social, and cultural value.
この指針は、選手だけでなく、指導者、保護者、審判、そして柔道に関わるすべてのステークホルダーのための羅針盤です。 These guidelines serve as a compass not only for athletes, but for coaches, parents, referees, and all stakeholders involved in judo.

競技人口の減少 Declining Participation
少子化に加え、柔道離れが進行。特に中学・高校での競技継続率の低下が深刻な課題となっています。 Beyond declining birth rates, people are leaving judo. The drop in continuation rates at middle and high school levels is a serious concern.
勝利至上主義の弊害 Win-at-All-Costs Culture
過度な勝利偏重が、早期燃え尽きや心身の故障、柔道本来の教育的価値の軽視を招いています。 Excessive focus on winning leads to early burnout, physical and mental injuries, and neglect of judo’s inherent educational value.
指導者の質の格差 Coaching Quality Gap
科学的エビデンスに基づく指導法が十分に普及しておらず、指導者間の知識・技術格差が拡大しています。 Evidence-based coaching methods have not sufficiently spread, and the knowledge and skill gap between coaches continues to widen.
安全管理の課題 Safety Management
重大事故の防止、脳震盪対応プロトコル、年齢に応じた練習強度の管理など、安全面の体制整備が急務です。 Urgent improvements are needed in preventing serious accidents, concussion protocols, and managing practice intensity appropriate to each age group.
